Keep your beloved pets happy with services from Hounds Hydro Limited. Based in Port St Mary, we provide a range of services for dogs and other animals throughout the Isle of Man. We specialise in hydrotherapy for dogs, offering fun play sessions and medical swimming therapy for pets of all ages. Additionally, we provide grooming and pet sitting services, ensuring all clients and their animals receive the best possible care. Our History
Inspired by her love of dogs, our founder Pamela Kelly founded Hounds Hydro Limited in 2008. As the proud owner of an assortment of Bearded Collies and Old English Sheepdogs, she understands dogs’ needs, and has trained in canine hydrotherapy to offer a service that will benefit dogs both physically and mentally. Our staff are backed by more than 39 years of combined experience in pet care.
Hydrotherapy
Heated to a comforting 28 to 30 degrees, our canine hydrotherapy pool is fully equipped for your dog’s needs. All dogs swim wearing a life jacket so that their personal therapist can direct them, and they don’t just leap in and start doggy paddling. Our experienced team ensure that this playtime is targeted and carefully supervised. Canine hydrotherapy can help with an array of health issues, including:
- Weight Loss and Fitness- Injury Recovery- Medical Conditions, including: o Arthritis o Hip Dysplasia
Please note that animals with medical conditions will require a referral from their vet.
Dog Grooming
As well as our specialist work in hydrotherapy, we also provide full grooming services. Offering everything from a routine bath and dry to the full grooming works, we make sure your dog is happy and looking their best.
Pet Sitting
If you are away for a day and your dog is at home, trust our team to look after your dog. Whether you want us to take them for a walk while you’re at work or sit and play with them while you’re out and about, our services are second to none. Although we primarily work with dogs, we look after an array of other pets to keep them fed and healthy while you’re away, including:- Cats- Fish- Rabbits
